When you are struggling to think of a birthday present you often sway towards gift vouchers, which can sometimes seem a little impersonal. This is why I offer a variety of gift vouchers for all the family. From pamper shoots for mum or that special someone, Engagements, Bump2baby, Newborn, Cakesmash, Family fun, Location shoots, Pet portraits and much more. All of my gift vouchers can now be ordered online.

When I started my business I didn’t have my own studio and working from home I would struggle to motivate myself enough to move the business forward while also taking care of  my three boys. So with this in mind I am opening up my studio for hire to other local photographers. If you are starting out feel you are ready to push yourself a little bit further but do not want the commitment of a full time studio I am here to help.  Four hours studio hire with use of two Elinchrome lights and the lastolite backdrop only £95.  For more information call me on 02085677993 or email barbara@pscphoto.co.uk

Your Baby’s first birthday is a precious milestone, allow me to capture this memory with our Cake smash shoot. A wonderful way to celebrate letting your little one enjoy making a mess with no stress about cleaning up afterwards. Before the cake smash begins I take a few images of baby with the family. This gives them time to settle into the environment and feel relaxed.

Let the smashing fun begin! This is usually quite fast paced! before you know it we are all covered in cake!

After the shoot all images will be edited and added to a private gallery with a proof of you 8×8 photo book.

Your book will arrive 10 working days after confirmation of proof.

frequently asked questions

What should baby wear for a cake smash?

This all depends on if you would like a theme, Superhero, Prince/Princess, Fairy, ballerina or even football star Baby could even just me in a pair of shorts/tutu or even a just a nappy. One thing to remember is baby will be covered in cake so we do not really want baby in a sentimental outfit that has been handed down the family when the cake smash begins, but if you have a precious outfit like this feel free to bring in along for some shots before the cake smash.

Do we need to bring anything?

The cake! Please don’t forget the cake. We have number 1 props in Pink, blue and Red. We also have bunting in pink blue and multi coloured as well as balloons. If you would like to make your shoot more unique feel free to bring along any additional props we can discuss this at time of booking.

How long does the shoot take?

The shoot usually takes no longer than an hour.

How long will it take before I see the images?

All images will be edited and uploaded to a private gallery online. This process usually takes about 10 working days.

Ealing Autumn Festival Art Award

This afternoon I was at Northolt Leisure Library. Which brought back a few memories of walking to school along Eastcote lane but a lot has changed since my high school days. The centre which was once just a swimming pool with limited facilities now has a Library and a lot more. I was in the Library offering a free portrait photography course for under 25’s. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in photography to get some basic knowledge and achieve a Bronze Art Award with Ealing Autumn Festival.

Today we were outside looking at how the natural light effects your portrait. Positioning each other the girls got the hang of looking at the shadows and highlights created by the sun and how they changed when the models were moved. They also had a go at using reflectors and filters to see how they could enhance the image. Our next session will be on Thursday where we will be looking at Studio lighting techniques. To find out more about the Art awards or the Festival please follow this link  http://www.ealingautumnfestival.co.uk/
